We rely on the support of our industry partners to make this event 100% free for the students that we support.
Science Extravaganza's workshops and events are provided to zero cost for the students that we visit and host. To put the event together, we purchase a variety of materials, food for attendees and volunteers, transportation for volunteers and students during the day of the event, and other miscellaneous materials and supplies for the workshops and the big event on February.

How Does Our Industry Partners Support Us?
There are three main ways in which our Sponsors are able to get involved with Science Extravaganza:

Sponsor Us
Becoming a Science Extravaganza Sponsor means that your company is a champion for DEI and supports the next generation of STEM Leaders. Our Sponsors allow us to make Science Extravaganza bigger and better. With their financial donations we are able to cover all the costs for the event year-long and keep our event free of cost to all our student attendees. Facilitate a Workshop
Becoming a Workshop facilitator is another amazing way in which our industry partners can get involved with Science Extravaganza.
During the event on a Saturday in early February, you get to put together a fun STEM based Workshop for the middle school students that we bring on campus. Around 3-4 student groups get to participate and have fun during your workshop. This is the perfect opportunity for our Industry Partners Volunteers to interact with the next generation of leaders, motivate them to pursue a career in STEM, and even learn from their ideas and thoughts!
From our past years, we have learned that workshops are fun for both industry partner volunteers and kids alike!
In-Kind Donation
Through an In-Kind Donation our Industry Partners are able to help us make the event bigger and better!
In-Kind Donations, are supports that are giving to us through materials for the event, company swag, food for the kids, food for our volunteers, school supplies, raffle prizes etc.
In the past, our Industry Partners that have chosen to support us through In-Kind donations have sponsored the food for the kids and volunteers during our Saturday event, STEM Kits that every middle schooler gets to take home, Backpacks, Pens, Pencils, Notebooks, Water Bottles, and other school supplies, stickers, Fun Prizes for our raffle at the end. This are just some of the many ways to support us through In-Kind Donations!
Can We Only Choose One Way To Support?
No! Most, if not all of our Industry Partners, choose a combination of 2 or the three of the ways to support us. As we are all volunteer based and also full time students, we appreciate all the support we can get to make the event bigger and better every-time!
